this is one of those "it's a small world, but wouldn't want to paint it" things. You're only 26 miles from a bike shop in Haxby owned by a sister of one of my coworkers in Haines Alaska where @keithaitch has a cousin who own a store.

Talk about putting salt in the wound. My excuse for getting blown away in the changing race was my weight but evidently that wasn't enough of an advantage in the downhill race.
