It rained most of the morning and is currently raining again now. It's warm but by no means hot. I think I'll cope.

Right, I need to go back a few pages to familiarise myself with your tactics.

@Whorty goes of at @rob01792 speed, @Marino.g goes after @Whorty and makes the catch at 1 mile. @Jim Brown coughs his remaining lung up trying to stay on @Marino.g's wheel, then ruptures himself as he loses saddle purchase due to Alpacin residue.

To be fair, only @rob01792 can go at Rob's speed .... I'll be going a little slower than that, say 500 watts off the line

I'll sprint the first 100 or so metres, then drop down to 200 watts until you and @Marino.g catch up then we can get back up to 300 watts and catch anyone cheeky enough to have gone past us As we pass each rider we'll be throwing a stick into their front spokes so they shoot over their handlebars

Don't forget, the first half has some nasty lumps which makes drafting troublesome, but it gets much easier to draft after half way. Once we get to that point we should be able to really crack on together and drafting will increase our average speed That's the plan anyway

D'oh. I looked at the estimated finish time with about 2.5 km to go and it was saying around 18 mins. So I thought I'd go to 1 km out then let @Jim Brown carry on. It was only when I finished that I realised that I actually beat my time from yesterday!!! I should have stayed on the pedals instead of rolling the last 1km

bit like me yesterday thinking i was loosing over 40 seconds on dp and co and then finding out afterwards that they were old ghosts and i was actually leading and should have kept driving

I think so, yes. There were 32 racers tonight. Jim and I raced the last half of the race with another guy who seemed happy to work with us. Jim smashed his previous time

we are on bst equals gmt plus 1
gmt plus 2 equals bst plus 1
race is at 20 00 gmt plus 2 equals 19 00 (bst plus 1)

to put it another way 20 00 spain time is 18 00 gmt is 19 00 bst
