I dont think I have anything planned for September so later September looks to be ok for most so far. Weekend of the 16th/17th or the 23rd/24th.

Either of those for me Kipster. From a traffic point of view is sunday better for a ride than saturday?

I'm planned to do Ventoux training week upto the Sept 16th. Probably I will need to bring wife/kid to sight see whilst I go cycling after a week being in the Alps. Will check the lay of opinion with wife before committing

Car museum at Beaulieu and Exbury gardens are both nice, plus the Forest has plenty of places to walk etc..

2. I couldn't do 1st week in Sept as it's my wedding anniversary but any other weekend should be fine.

1. My quack diagnosed me with effort induced asthma, 1 year later I had three heart stents fitted.

Ouch. A good reason for me to take care then as I have also been really ill the last few days and need to get myself well before getting back on the bike and racing again.

In the mean time, well done to everyone who competed in the May Chaingang. The new league has just been created and should be starting tomorrow ready for the Thursday night blast. Spending last weekend in Wales will not be an acceptable excuse to not be on the start line.
