Go team cyclechat for tomorrow. I might miss event due to being on flight.

My Tenerife experience is over. Tired, 6 days riding with over 200miles and probably 5000 metres plus of climbing (I'll check once loaded Garmin). I'll do a little write up once the Nation's cup has settled down. All the best chaps for Saturday:okay:

I'm going to try to stay awake to watch live. It will be 1am my time. Go Team Cyclechat!!!!

"On the velodrome, gaining an advantage by using the virtual speed exploit(accelerating to virtual speed, coasting, then accelerate and so forth), is not allowed. The same sanction as use of ERG mode applies."

Doesn't that sound like the old "sawtooth"?

Thought that was eliminated entirely.

Good on you @Randyberlin - I should be in work tomorrow morning but not anymore.. :bravo: is it an 8.30am start UK?

Listen.. I don't mind telling you that I'll be terribly vexed if the live feed is Danish focussed... I want to see you guys.. I don't care about who else is racing - just Team CycleChat... :hyper:

Well, nobody is preventing either of the participating Cyclechat guys from live streaming their effort to Youtube etc.

That's the tactic Holt used to win the Vélodrome race the other day, which took Jacob by surprise. :-) The others were pushing an average north of 500w, and Morten Holt only used 287. :-)

Finished CG2 but bsim hung i assume w/o saving, anybody else have problems? bkook server seems 'under pressure'
If you don't want to do that one again Steve you can put in a short dummy run to get your time. My ride has showed up so relieved I won't have to do it again.

Thanks Bill I'm travelling out to the Far East Tuesday so I don't mind to do it again out there, I think my Real Axiom is a little more generous Good luck to you and the guys tomorrow

Yes, that's the ride that highlighted the problem and prompted them to put that rule in. I have seen the ride data and it definitely still works @LBHIFI - in the velodrome at least! I think what they have done is speed up the drop in speed when you hit an incline which probably does reduce its effectiveness a lot on road courses. But the lack of hills in the velodrome seem to allow it to still give a big advantage

You can watch the velodrome race on my YouTube channel. But it is my ride streamed live on Tuesday, and probably won't make you any wiser. :-)

I know this is wrong on the eve of a very important international spectating event - however, I've had a great day at work, went out for areal world ride, it rained and I didn't care and.... now I'm 5 Fosters down and started into the Bud...

I hope it won't effect my performance against the Danes & Spanish tomorrow..

:bravo::bravo::bravo: Come on you Brits...

I'll get mi coat..

Thanks for all the words of encouragement guys, very much appreciated!

I'm not going to be the most athletic tomorrow... And to be honest I'm probably not the most patriotic either... but I know I'm going absolutely bury myself to do the best I can because that's what I've done most of my life to get where I am. And doing it for my cyclechat family, knowing all my teammates are burying themselves too, is all the motivation I need!

Time to get that rocky theme tune music on full blast boys.

Let's have it!!!
