Agreed Whorty. That WC stage 10 is a nasty one. Just did it myself tonight and found those two hills to be bl00dy hard. The ghosts I challenged left me for dead on those hills and I hardly caught them up on the flats. Fortunately it was the top 4 that I challenged so all in all, happy enough with my time and placing. Of course the big boys still haven't put their times in so I'll be flying down the leaderboard soon enough.
Thomas is a good guide to how well you have done on a stage like this as he's v good on the hills and fast on the flats so only 5 mins behind is really good. (Id expect him to be in the top 3 of the wc) The speed on the uphill is the main difference, when you were going at 10.5kph he was going at 16.5kph! :hyper:

I listen to some real rubbish on the Turbo like Spinning compilations and House, anything above 90 bpm is fine.
I listen to my tears dropping on the floor and the thumping of my heart as it tries to break out of my rib cage

Yes, his 16.5kph vs my 10.5kph is a massive difference and when the hills go on for 10 or 15 mins each that means I lose a lot of time. If he could do that to me in the real world I guess he'd need somewhere near twice the w/kg on the hills. I see that in his power graph he makes a lot more power going up hill whereas mine is more or less the same power as on the flat. Classic vs newer pro perhaps.

Yeeha, just logged on to Bkool and it gave me the "All pending sessions uploaded". Very strange since it never indicated it was not uploaded in the first place.
Sorry Pep, Bkool just loved me more than you yesterday :becool:.
I don't think anyone will best that time, that is phenomenally quick. Take that pep :cycle:

Apparently it was so fast that even BSim had to think twice before even detecting I did the session .

It is of course a result of an overwhelming Bkool generosity. It looks like most get some of that on a regular basis, but it just seems to not only be more prenounced with me, but also to go both ways.

Try stage 8 whilst it's being generous!

Whilst its great fun to have these huge power results, its just not consistent. 50% improvement over your standard is just not realistic.

Well, after melting the last one, I fitted a brand new tyre yesterday :hyper:

Re-did stage 2 of the WC looking forward to absolutely flying along on the new tyre......felt just the same:headshake:

Got a slight improvement with a lot of effort, but nothing unexpected considering I know I wasn't at my best when I first did that stage. Damn Bkool working normally and vaguely realistically as it should do
