Late again to the party..
Headed for our Monday brekkie and pint..
Kitchen problems so no brekkies and I said no pint please.
McCafe on't way home, cashed in some points for it.

Warm sunny day here at the towers, bit breezy but some work done...
I better go check over night temps for later..

Lunchtime
It'll go on yer record, you realise that...
Kitchen problems at home or away, why'd you declined the pint.
Supply issues again. Yer QM needs a talking to.
Anything good with yer points. As in yer'd enough to get something good.

Started sunny ere, then clouded over. Now clearing again, sun is putting in an appearance again.
Not too much paint on yourself I hope...
Moving stuff around because of low temperatures or in expectation of them dropping.

Why not, seems a good time of day for it.

After yesterday's trials and tribulations..
Hours wasted, trying this and that..
Someone tried to access my computer....
through an external account..
I checked login attempts, and there were none except mine, but there are plenty if you look back at the recent history. all pretty random.
Oh well, looks like repelled....-

Raspberry Pis just won't connect to the network...
I flashed all all-new OS and put the relevant files with wifi, etc., and still nothing.
tried to upgrade a small radio I have, it wouldn't flash either:laugh:
Not a day for the computer stuff....

Mrs M left to buy more paint..
She said 'you don't have to do any today'
I asked 'why go buy it today then?'
'You'll be ready for tomorrow.....'
What a girl, eh?
It's reverse psychology at work..
I'll go do some today....
before the holy terror arrives:hyper:

I had a glass of this chilled ale...

Screenshot 2025-03-25 091750.jpg

Available (up here) in Dill and Dali
Very refreshing and my no2 in beers.....

Anything important on yer computer? Plans for the invasion of North America, secret Swiss bank account numbers...
You think the recent access/login attempts and the unsuccessful flashing are linked.
How random are the attempts you've found, maybe Toodles has been trying to get on, having seen you making stuff with it.

"They" might be closing in on you...
Hopefully it'll sort itself out, letting you flash yer drives next time.

And you've been hard at work since sun-up getting it done!!
You missed yer chance to say "not to bother as you've taken care of it".
Stirrers, homemade, and brush at the ready...
Get her helping you, doing the stuff lower down. Save you bending/squatting down.

Any good?

The "Can't find your way home" brew?
And yer No. 1 beer...

Weird stuff, but you get that lager-type hit, then a deep IPA aftertaste..
It has to be tasted to understand.....some chilling downstairs...

Schiehallion is a very close 3rd......

I have a stool/kneeling type thing which I have started using, helps a little.
Side of the slats are the bugbear..
at my speed and the fact I am more likely doing the equivalent of a double coat..
I will be sunset strip age when it is needing done next

No other stuff attempted today, and it can wait...
I even printed a couple of Pi cases to use..

I may get out really early tomorrow morning and get stuff done before the kids and their mum appears...maybe.

I'm watching rounders, the season is almost upon us..

I'll have a look at any login attempts today later.
Off for a chilled one:cheers:

Nothing brewed in Scotland these days that you like?
Willing to take your word on the acquired taste bit, never having tried it myself.
You'd drink warm beer!!

Most bases covered then, after apple juice.

Ah, a "cheat seat", you're part kneeling when using it?
Why not pull every second one off, paint it and the two either side, then reattach when dry?
You'll finish it, don't worry. Sunset Strip age or otherwise.
Don't believe that guff on the side of the tins of lasting 10 years. It'll need doing before then.

You had time to consider doing other stuff. You've too much time on yer hands.
Full size Pi cases, or for the electronic variety.

Do it overnight, after the rounders programme has finished. Get yer neighbours questioning yer reasoning.
Added bonus of the kids, and their mum will be in the land of nod and unlikely to put in an appearance.

When's the season start?

No pattern to the login attempts yet.
Hope you enjoyed yer chilled one...

Wow..Late again :hello:
It was a busy morning which kinda 'expanded' to not long ago..
All started at 1.00 am, mail from the lottery, you have won a prize:hyper:
Mrs M woke, and I told her the good news, and we decided to go out this morning, so we headed out and spent the £2.90p.....

You'll meet yourself leaving as your arriving one day.
In a universe not far away...
She didn't mind you waking her up to tell her?
Prize shared equally.

The chilled one was perfect.....
seat? you can use it to kneel and the legs for pushing back up or as a seat(not that wide TBH), handy.

No fence today but got brown bin ready for a Fri empty.
Sanded down a wooden planter, sandpaper was very thin and kept ripping so must look for some better stuff..it buffed the surface stuff off so it took longer, I'll get Mrs M to give it a coat or two to freshen it up...
First games were in Tokyo, a sort of exhibition type game...
Tomorrow for my lot, live on TNT, handy.
So many games in, they normally offer a cut price coverage deal, so that's the ploy this year....

This can says 5 years so.....

Would you have another?
I know the sort of seat you're on about.

It'll be harder once it gets warmer as summer arrives. And the smell will linger...
Were it the dear stuff you were using. Fine, causing it to clog on yer.
Suppose she says it's your job!
Japan in the world series now. Could brighten things up, especially at away games where they have the home advantage.
You'll be up early watching a late game or late watching an early game.
No price increase this season, or have you already paid out for it at the old price.

You'll be doing it again soon then.

Of course, her money is hers and mines is hers too..
My ticket, I'm a generous auld sod....
My thumping about the computer more likely did..
One way to keep things quiet, aside from you thumping the keyboard in excitement.
So you say.
Thumping, it got yer that excited before they revealed how much you'd won.

Linger? I'll throw in an old pair of Bob's socks...
Once logged in, I knew it was a pittance..
a gain of 40p....

They play games abroad..
a couple of years ago they played London, Yankees v Red Sox...
never bothered going down, different in the early '80s
when we were at Wembley three years in a row for the American Bowl..
Bear V Cowboys, 49ers v Dolphins and the Rams v Broncos..
pre-season games but still saw greats such as the Fridge, John Elway, Dan Marino, Joe Montana and many others....
First game we drove down and tried to drive back home after the game, ended up snoring in motorway service stations.
Next time, we camped at Lea Valley then camped for the last game..
Did the tourist drive at 5am in the morning whilst roads were busy..
then the kids came along, trips over

MLB.tv single team? 100 quids plus VAT...
162 games so not bad......

Wouldn't doing that affect what yer trying to grow...
40p increase, t'ain't too bad these days.

Exhibit games are a different matter. There'd only be the one team travelling if they allowed foreign teams in.
The Red Sox nothing to do with you, and what colour you wear...
Sounds as though you had yer fun, down London way at other games than Scotland England matches.
Motorway services never really quieten down. You get gaps in the traffic coming in, not much else. Sleep can't have been easy.
Do yer kids realise what you gave up for them.

That's a wee bit on the steep side, for me, for one sport. But it's yours, which is Mrs M's and Mrs M's money paying for it, you enjoy it.
