Dry day so far...
We have a birthday girl here..
still trying to catch up with me

Snap, drying out now though.
Waiting on a dry day to do a bike test. You could be waiting a while for that.
Rough as in bad enough to stop cars being driven on it, leaving it free to cycle on.
Another road, how many you after for getting home?
Yer ears struggling to hear summat that yer familar with...

I'll admit I've taken micky out of the local council lads doing similar, despite the automatic system in place.

No porridge a treat!!

Yeah, Weetabix (copies), fresh strawberries, raspberries, raspberry yogurt, milk in a bowl, delicious.
Trip up and down road last night, aye, quicker and handier, might get bike out

We drove about with a towed bowser , big extended lances.
Plenty O/T as the whole of the cooncil area,
I never refused an extra shift in my life (unless something important)
Kept me away from our rugrats
My ears? I can hear a pin drop 100 m away but put in a room with a few folk yakking and now its just a mush to me, the ability to pick out a specific conversation has gone.
I always wore ear protection throughout my life, my old dad was the same.

Off to catch up with the baseball (4am start over there)

Times may have changed, but council methods haven't. They use the same method here, still.
They don't do overtime, they'll get someone else in to finish if its taking too long.
Pick out one you want to listen to, concentrate on that one. Or tune yer lug holes to pick out certain words, regardless of who says them. Works for me.
You still wear them?

I was tempted but too much brunch (my excuse), tomorrow will be out too..

Keep in having yer porridge, can't let a traditional meal fall by the wayside and be forgotten. Brunch, what's wrong with "elevenses"? At yours or theirs?
You always seem to eat less when eating out.

Supposed to have chucked it down in these parts today, not a drop. So far!

How's it go if someone drops money on the floor. You hear it hitting the floor and shout heads/tails as it hits the floor?
Another early start, hopefully not interrupted by an elbow in the ribs during the night.

Still dry here, but doesn't feel as though it'll stay that way for much longer.

I always had a 'never been down that way before' attitude, been to many road/track ends.
My Strava heatmap was like capillaries in yer skin..
