I spent time into the wee hours following a how to do this guide..
every time it told me a command it crashed..
there is a Rasp pi living dangerously close to me....

we'd key fob problems with it..
I've a pal high up in Parts Dept in a BIG garage chain who couldn't source them, we tried a few mobile companies, nope, can't help.
Got replicas of key cut, key wouldn't work LOL
one bloke with careful file work did get a working key so had to hold the old key fob next to lock when turning key, bit of a hassle.
I even got Chinese fob copy and nope....
exhaust was blowing,
got at least something but it owed us nothing at that mileage...

I've a pal high up in Parts Dept in a BIG garage chain who couldn't source them, we tried a few mobile companies, nope, can't help.
Got replicas of key cut, key wouldn't work LOL
one bloke with careful file work did get a working key so had to hold the old key fob next to lock when turning key, bit of a hassle.
I even got Chinese fob copy and nope....

got at least something but it owed us nothing at that mileage...

You'd have thought the basics like spare key cutting and replacement electronic key would have been available to the owner of the vehicle though.
Well, if the Chinese can't make a working copy that says it all.

You'd have thought the basics like spare key cutting and replacement electronic key would have been available to the owner of the vehicle though.

we couldn't fathom the cut key thing as Timpson, a couple of mobile lock specialists cut keys using the originals, nope, no joy, the T guy used a file and got us a useable one..
The car we have was a bargain TBH....
and we know the car.

Just been to outside our normal shopping area and sitting in store cafe, woman decided to feed her little one when I was chatting to Toodles, oops...

best car we ever had, the motoring press slated it so how many are still running around? quite a few..
must keep an eye and see if it gets back on the road.

away to get some of the monthly stuff done,
I wonder why I do this...
but name a day and more likely I can supply that days WX stats, planes that flew over, and other daft stuff...

Didn't realise you'd had it ten years. Six sprang to mind for some reason.
Thing with most things is there's always someone for who it's as perfect as possible.
