Good morning. Tea finished, played board games with Beautiful Daughter for a bit.
She has informed me that she wishes to practice riding a bike today; I really shouldn't have shown her all those bike touring videos on YouTube...

I remember learning to ride my first bike. It got flung away in frustration several times until I got it.

Just for the record, a penny farthing was NOT my first bike...

Just for the record, a penny farthing was NOT my first bike...

I am inclined to be grumpy. I remember mum saying she stayed out of the way watching me through the window because she knew how frustrated I was!

Show her "Britain by Bike", whilst slowly adding weight to her bike when she practices.

Penny Farthings are not safe for the roads today, the traffic lights tend to be just that bit too low at the side of the roads. As for cycling on the pavement on one, signs only have to be at 6'6" height, making riding under them all but impossible.

I'll have a wee look later..
I see they did that mofo hill out of Fort Augustus ..(around 1.07)..

The Easter Bunny has left a bag of eggs in a wardrobe here..
who else knows where to put them for ME..

Thought I'd leave my one-a-day to mid afternoon expecting it to be busy earlier, wrong..
apart from a daft wummin trying to turn left as I freewheeled downhill,
it was quite busy out..
pretty breezy on the way back home..
like a summer day
