Morning all:hello:
A quiet day today, no Beag:sad:
Mrs M found a box of shortbread yesterday, another of these can’t resist biscuits.
Scotland has given the world things like shortbread, Tunnocks caramel wafers(and coconut logs, tea cakes), Barr’s Irn Bru(there are NO substitutes)*, all that leads me to ma porridge :okay:

Have a braw day^_^
Owdo, tha's early or have you become a "creature of the night"!!
*t'is American
Good morning...

That's one heck of a breakfast.
That's his starter whilst he awaits his toast.

How's the ark building going
An elderly lady round the corner from me asked if I would be a key holder in case she has a fall. She gave me a tin of shortbread at Christmas as a thank you. I had it all scoffed pronto!
I dunno Mo. You kept it all for yerssen.

Morning??

Dry, Bright and sunny. About to accompany Beautiful Wife to a translating appointment (German-Japanese) in the next village...

Couldn't you go the extra 3/4 of a mile, making it 63 full miles?

What are these strange archaic measurements of which you speak?

Generally I'm just over the hundred anyway, just to make sure. I've found a new route to Tübingen (you're excited, I can tell) which will take me to about 110.

ETA: Before someone (I'm looking at you @classic33) suggests otherwise, that's a hundred/110 Kilometres.

How many cuppas do you drink per hour though?
A box worth:hyper:(hyper with the sugar rush)

I'll maybe have 5 cuppas per day
3 coffee , 2 tea mostly..
Shortbread is a tea thing, doesn't work with coffee for me...

Not the same stuff...
a pale, pre IRN BRU drink.....
Gotta point you here to a couple of adverts
This one for Fiery Irn Bru

and a classic one..

It's worth a trawl through YouTube to watch the ads, a bit near the knuckle but funny...

It's the caffeine, not the sugar.

When a Scottish newspaper questions the origin, you've to wonder why.

You gotta go with taste......
the origin doesn't matter..
My words were we gave the world Barr,s Irn Bru, we passed one of the Barrs factories today, I bowed in reverence, think of the shortbread I mentioned and caramel wafers, other brands and country types are available, I just implied certain Scottish firms do it best....

just FYI I detest whisky and haggis:laugh:
