I don't mind the canal but it can be a bit tedious in parts, not enough bends
I can drop down to the Falkirk Wheel and have a grand total of 33ft ascent by the time I reach the foot of the Erskine Bridge, amazingly.
It kinda gets a bit hilly after that, I just headed to the low part of town and the finish is not what you want.

No. My brother is going to take the house on I think so it will be up to him to get stuck in once the legalities are done.

slightly under 43....
still a one way,
Strava says I've come back 4 times,
its been more than that,
more eastbound journeys though.
It's a pleasant run, canal bank through some pleasant countryside then through Glasgow, Clydebank, the Erskine Bridge which tells me 10 miles till home, 4 miles past the Falkirk Wheel is Carron Sea Lock so it is a CTC
