How deep a vallley are you in, given that you're an hour in front?

We're on top of a hill and can see right across a fairly wide plateau, but the hills on the other side are even higher than ours and to the south east, and they're very steep, so at this time of year they are a silhouette or in shadow for most of the morning.

Another 20 minutes or so and the sun will have passed its high point for the day.

I'm afraid I don't always get to report in real time, due to having a life and general laziness...

Equally, they are very steep hills, so the shadows are strong until late.

It'll be summer before they're retired.

Hope shes got more than one pair or else they could be standing up on their own
