No, I've won. I mean, they still pace about in the garden, walking all around the pond probing my defenses for a weakness, but they can't get in. There is a pond within 20 yards, though, straight across the lane. They have to put up with a moorhen over there, but it does them fine. There are ponds everywhere here, with probably 20 within half a mile, so it's no hardship to them that one is out of bounds.
