No idea about what is happening on Northern, I know they want DOO but.
You would only find the odd driver in the RMT, thats the guards union.

I see guards out on 26th and 29th. Amended timetable and main service to run between 07:00 and 19:00. Thats all I can find, drivers dont seem to be involved yet.

DOO may have been the trouble, drivers refusing to operate them.

Out on Sunday, but engineering work on the same day as well.

Not sure, but don't think they have DOO on Northern yet.

Some of the "upgraded" stock, for DOO, from the 1980's is in use. But up until now with a guard on as well.

To be honest I am only bothered about what gets tried with us and how it will pan out

At rush hour, the guard is rendered useless anyway. 300+ people on a twin coach pacer doesn't leave a lot of room to move.

Do you reckon the drivers will be paid part of the guards wage?

No idea what will happen but I can't imagine it will be nice.
Obviously they will start on the guards first and then see what happens.
