Morning all:hello:
Still waiting for the icing sugar fairy to arrive:rolleyes:
Nice, crisp day out

too much sport going on today so off for a quick walk over the golf course..
Enjoy your day, wax up your sledge runners, just in case:okay:

Sounds like there wasn't much sport going on at Twickenham yesterday
My local non league football team played yesterday, absolutely freezing and awful conditions :cold: but fair play to the lads for getting on with it

Just thought I'd pop in and wish all in Tealandia a Happy St Patrick's Day. I'll raise a glass to you tonight @classic33 . I hope you are all as well as can be expected. The weather continues to be great here with:sun: every day. Mrs B continues to have her good and bad Dementia days, but is pretty good overall.
Since I was last here I've been working away on the Alzheimer's site. I never knew so much went on in the background and found getting access to the staff section of their forum an eye opener. It's very rewarding work as, on top of giving advice, I am pointing people at various resources like help-lines if I feel they need extra help and even setting safeguarding in motion if I spot someone who seems suicidal or in danger of violence etc. It's a UK site, but has a global reach, so I've interacted with people from places as far afield as Canada, Australia and Korea to name a few. I really get to feel I'm making a contribution. It's also a place where the whole forum is as friendly as the Tea thread so that's a big plus.
Ta ta for now.:hello:

Hi @Blue :hello:
Really good to see you and a lot of respect to you for what you are doing :notworthy:
I wish you all the best with your care for your wife and feel jealous of your slightly warmer weather. :sun:

Keep it in your area and to the south please:okay:

What a day,
Scotland v Italia, Milan San Remo, Baseball followed finally by a taped Ireland v England...

Bob is sported out...
one superb cycling race, glad Cav is okay (according to DD doc and a couple of spanking good rugby matches...

I even managed to avoid the result from Twickers....

A quiet day tomorrow, I think^_^

I saw the Cav crash, looked nasty the way he somersaulted over the top of that bollard. Its they way he ejected from the bike with such a force. To have unclipped from the pedals like that took a massive amount of force as they certainly tighten the tension on the releases to the max.
Glad to hear he is relatively ok, he certainly is having a bad start to the season. Thats 3 races he has crashed out of now if I am correct

welsh dragon

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

He does seem to have a habit of crashing.

Twickenham was a good hard game..
You can see why folk get pissed with the media bias, Inverdale was only two mins after the Welsh game then straight on to England matters.
I saw part of a Serie A game much later on, Juve and Splat or something, you'd have thought they'd gone down as they were shot. Its more like a drama unfolding with all the hand expressions and looks.

Aye, it looked bad but strange one, I'm assuming no marshal or warning and it was in a prominent area. I think I'd be giving it all up with a run of luck like that
