It passed over when I was washing the bike earlier.
Seven copters been logged in the area since lunchtime, unusual traffic.
HeliMed passes over on its way out to the Isles, SAR copter also flies overhead when heading to Paisley RAE...
the Sikorsky A92 will wake you when it flies directly overhead, now an Agustawestland doing most of PIK SAR work, much quieter beast.

There's been a fair bit of "aerial activity" off the coast of Scotland these last few days.

Have to say, washing your bike at 0300 hrs is a bit "odd".

I meant this afternoon
Yesterday saw quite a bit of RAF 'traffic' off the NE and North Sea.
I'd a pal 'given a lift' by an SAR copter a couple of years ago, the copter woke me around 3.00 am as it passed overhead, I'd seen it heading up north earlier on Sunday evening and sent a text asking if he was needing a lift home, just as well, he at the time of the text was hanging upside down...
I got a text 8.00am, saying 'Aye I did'
