That’s good enough, as it seems appropriate, and I thank you for it.The Afrikaaners have a great word: Sterkte. It means "strongs" (yeah, it doesn't translate well). So, to SteCenturion and Blue, "Sterkte" is all I've got for you.

Awaiting the letter.Sorted your travel plans and appointment time Mr C?![]()
I thought he been hit by someone, whilst at work.Thought you tough Yorkshire people rode in conditions like that?
Or are you telling us porkies![]()
Good morning. No snow here, just the usual bloomin rain.
it's cold though.
It’s tough, however, I do my best.Good to see your coping with the weather.]
Good morning all.
No snow here either. A couple of inches did fall in the mountains a couple of days ago and our daytime temperature dropped to a chilly 16/17c but we are now back up to the norm. I’ve just been hanging out the laundry and it looks like we are in for a very nice day.![]()
Good morning
We had a half ar**d attempt at snow last night and there's still some light slushy stuff covering the street outside.
I'm fully expecting Tara to trip me up and Erin to chuck snowballs at me on our way to school.
I don't wanna go out. It's too cold.
I want summer back!
I’ll be on the p##s tonight!
As Mrs B was waking this morning she was rambling a bit more than usual and then called me into the bedroom and asked me if I was David! I'm not.
I always knew it would happen as she often has to ask me for the names of family members and friends, but didn't expect it so soon. I think this Alzheimer's journey is going to be a long and lonely one! Oh dear, oh well, another day begins.
Ah, thanks for the thought, but it will still be a good day - I hope it was just a blip. Mrs B will already have forgotten it and maybe I will too - after a few beers tonight!
Roof still on?Its snowing here as well now.![]()
What's wrong with that? Beats walking to work, anytime there's snow.Wouldn't expect anything else![]()
