I used to work for an insurance company and about 16 years ago I dealt with a windscreen claim for a rolls royce. Even back then the cost for a replacement windscreen was £1,000. And all the owner had to pay was £25.00. That was the excess on windscreen claims at that time

I hit a pheasant about 6 years ago. It smashed a big hole in my bumper.

I hit a pigeon once, I don't know what happened to the bird but there was a fair cloud of feathers after..

Hit by a crow whilst riding home from work one night. Nice bruise the same morning where it'd hit.

I was hit by the missus this morning, apparently she's nothing like an old bird.

Evening all, a wifi-tastic stop in Arachnon, right knee gave up the ghost today, taking it easy before seeing if it will do the last 150 miles over the next week.. Hope so. How is everyone then?

With a surfeit of online connectiveness I've written two more tonight, posted the four articles that I did while I had no internet and have received an update from Wordpress which has given me the picture posting ability that I didn't have before...so now I am slowly posting some updates with some pictures to previous posts..
