I enjoyed my extra hour and ¾ in bed this morning. Brilliant.

However, the brilliant roads here in sunny East Lothian are beckoning to be cycled. So its a couple mugs of cha to start the day then were off

Morning teepees, off to werk! Bummer as everyone else has cycling plans. At least the roads will be quiet for the run in.

There was a gap of 4m30s between the small lead group and the following peloton. After that there were lots of beeping team cars then police and confused members of the public who managed to get onto the road before the race had cleared...

Right, I'm off. I have thrown my OH out for the entire day with him bike and some sandwiches and have made up a 22.5 mile route. Put on some sunblock (yes it is that sunny)... waited for the morphine to take effect and I'm not about to leave.

Morning everyone
Neighbour's kids are running around their garden, screaming their heads off and generally scrapping. Neighbour yelling at her kids to stop fighting and her husband is yelling at her to stop yelling. All this before 7.15am. I was most definitely awake and now sitting here with a spinach smoothie, a cuppa and a big bidon of water, ready for the day.
Off riding to meet Hubster from dialysis later, then putting the bike in the back of the car - when I get there and then going for a ride with Hubster. His consultants say that he has to stay fit. It's an uphill struggle to get him to ride but I do my best. Gorgeous day out anyway.

Still chilly. I haven't felt warm for the last few days. Certainly not going to put storage heaters back on in May so just have to pile on more jumpers.

I wish. Mr SL is in bed after his night shift and next door are STILL having work on their loft conversion done. Thats 2 weeks of constant banging, minus 2 Sundays, but not it seems, bank holidays!
