Evening all... how many shades of white can there be? Kitchen decorating, paint choosing, paint match pot comparing... I'd rather just cook in it, not decide which of 38 shades of white paint I'll be spoiling with splatter stains of sauce!

Problem is many of the whites aren't actually called white.
You then have gloss, satin, semi-gloss, semi-matt & matt.

Exactly..and under a coat of bolognese or thai curry spatters it would all look the same. Spattered with a hint of white.
