Paraquat is nearly as good. But its illegal to use or own it. Used in Agent Orange, amongst other things.

I see they reckon there is a link to parkinson's disease. Looks like you are restricted to whats available down the garden centre

You can't buy anything that actually works nowadays.

I used to have some crystals that would rot a tree stump in no time but they're no longer on sale, shame as they did a brilliant job.

Would that be Agent Orange?

As paraquat is used in it you wouldn't expect it to be available in the local garden centre. I would expect the Americans to have a vast stockpile of the stuff left over from the Vietnam war though.
