It wasn't too extreme today, but could've done with a few more cups of tea. Thinking about going for a spin on the bicycle shortly

Oh it's all attached, that's what puzzled me, never mind, it's under warranty but I intend to take a course or two so I can sort things like this myself

When you change gears does the rear mech move at all?

If you grab the cable where it runs along the down tube does it feel taut?

Good evening.
A rather large and completely unforecast thunder storm passed over, unfortunately at MrsD's commute home time (she cycled in today). There was that much rain that the water was lifting the drain covers. She got a bit wet but arrived home laughing, saying that once she was wet she just got on with it thinking she couldn't be any wetter. I had set off in the car to rescue her but we crossed paths somehow without meeting so when I got home she was stood out in the rain waiting, because of course I had gone off with the house keys...Oops.

Oops Ian. Glad she had fun and enjoyed it though. I wish we had some blomin rain. I hate this heat. I prefer cooler weather. Who called bob a grumpy, old git by the way?
