I've just had some sort of granola. Very nice but I do believe WD thinks it is like budgie grit or something if I remember correctly.

Had a short spin on the bike. Roads were ok but didn't go far as it was a chilly breeze and drizzling away. At least the legs still work.

Well done for getting out. Still hard white frost out there so no chance for me. Maybe I should think about a CX Bike.

Afraid bike makes no difference Brian. I came off on black ice last two winters. Once on the road bike but the second time was on the old mtb with wide treaded tyres. Only the ice spikes will make any difference.

Oh dear maybe not then. I would feel happy trying it on ice with cross tyres and no SPD's
