My first escapade in this game came in circa early 1973....
standing on back of a cooncil lorry shovelling the mix into a self driven spreader at back of the lorry in all weathers and times of night..

Gritter lorries nowadays? cushy but kudos to the blokes who drive them...

It has gone mild with a slight thaw with high winds and heavy rain on their way (please)
