I'm back! Successful event and my son came along with his dad (my ex) and won a bike (from a place that recycles them) in the raffle!
Just eaten, next shower and then I'll be sifting through a couple of hundred photos...

I'm sorry to hear of your weather woes, northerners. It was glorious wall-to-wall sunshine down here, with hundreds of cyclists out, 2 or 3 different vintage car rallies, a couple of horse-and-carriages, and lots of little convertibles with the tops down. I did exactly 50 miles, pootling, and felt a bit lack lustre (I think from my fast day yesterday). Didn't see a property we liked this afternoon, unfortunately. Well, we saw loads we liked, but they weren't for sale . My wife is off to keep an eye on the Vikings this evening. They're keeping their cover up with a choral concert in Sudbury, but we know they plan on annexing East Anglia after the tea and nibbles........
