Finger nails could do with a trim, especially little finger on left hand.

First lot of boxes delivered to the flat we are moving into at the weekend. We have the first lot of boxes from Ian to come here. Still in the car as we have a little bit of shifting about to do first. Cup of tea required before all that though.

We got our first look at the refitted kitchen. The contractors have done a good job. We were a bit worried as Ian chose all the colours, tiles, door facias, handles etc but it seems that he has very good taste. We were praying that it wasn't going to be all fogey-fied and plain white tiles and it's not. Nice doors, funky handles, black sparkley tiles but boring floor tiles. It seems that they didn't put the ones down that he chose but I hear that a lot from friends who have just had refurbed kitchens.

Council rang today to confirm that we were still signing for the flat on Friday and gave us directions as to which office to go to. Good job they did as we'd have trolled off down the City Hall had they not rung, as that is where the letter said to go.

Tends to be a bit darker than that when it does get cold.
