Now, if the wind would just drop a little tiny bit I can go for a ride in a bit. I might just do my 5 mile loop if the wind doesn't drop, just to get out on the bike.

Well, they don't use anti-perspirant and they stink. It could be something to do with rolling in sh:t, however, I'll be more polite and just say it's because they sweat.

Good grief, it's hot & humid today. We are both sweating like
I have a feeling I'm going to melt when I do my daily hill walk later.
Hot over here today. We did a steady 50 mile recovery ride and it was noticeable how warm it was

Now off to see if our car is sorted. We took it to Tom as it's idling a little roughly and, when we went to start it up, the starter motor died. Currently we have a nice loaner in the shape of a Saab 93 estate. Bloomin' lovely. I wish we'd seen this when we were looking.
The only thing near to falling here is me - lordy that walk was warm work and I felt the old 1,000 metre stare developing. Still, I should be maintaining a little fitness by way of the daily stomps

Mentioned to Tom that we wished that we had known about the car that we are currently borrowing. He said 'lets do a deal then' and is going to crunch some numbers over the weekend while he is waiting for the parts for our black Saab. The loaner is the next bracket up, a couple of years younger and half the amount of VED. A bit tatty but that's estate cars for you. We rather like it.
On the way home we tried to put a CD in the player but there seems to be a CD stuck in there so we came home to the strains of Nursery rhymes as sung by CBBC presenters by the sound of it. It's bloomin' stuck and then we couldn't get it to stop as the CD/Radio interface is a lot different to our car

It's so cold here!
I got all my laundry done today and cooked etc....I have had some chocolate....I am bad, but after a 2 year ban it was oh so good!!!
