How are you healing, physically and mentally, after that incident?

Physically OK. I'm sleeping better now the bruise in one hip has healed a bit, but one hand still hurts. If I'd hit it any harder, something might have broken. The incident will also end up costing me about $350.

Easy say I know, but the bruising will go, eventually.
Why so much for the front wheel though, or is it injury? You can tell me what to do if you want.

$40 to get the existing wheel trued (except it didn't work, and it's got too much radial wobble)
$60 (most likely) to get the new wheel built
$170 for the new hub, spokes and rim

Mine was a write-off. But having checked the exchange rates its not as high as it first seems. Roughly what you'd expect up here.
