Don't you think that there should be some sort of priority order related to the condition, so I phone up (with a bad back or Man flu) you phone up (your lads proper poorly sick), then I should get bumped down & your lad bumped up.

I might be slightly aggrieved, but the right person gets seen 1st, fairs fair imo.

It's done on a 'first come, first served' basis.
I've managed to secure an appointment for 5pm which is handy, as I can take him after school then drop him to his dad's around the corner, as he takes him swimming on a Monday

Hasn't been any promotion for year @stephec - the 'powers' brought in a licensing system that is used in the NRL (Australia) that is a crock of S#1T which excluded Leigh for 9 years.

Even next year it's not straight forward, with a complicated play off system instead of top 2 up & bottom 2 down like football.

Unfair, but I am surprised that football (Premier League) hasn't gone down the same route. We don't want little teams coming up and all that. It was great a few years ago when Wimbledon used to stick 2 fingers up to the big teams by beating them

Actually, it now looks like we are about to get a late afternoon shower - its 4pm here - as a big black cloud is moving in. Looks like it will be afternoon coffee indoors instead of outside with the cats today.

Wwwww finished (half an hour walk with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) then a visit to the HA to give them a poke as we really should be moving this weekend but have no paperwork and are still awaiting our gas and electric check. Apparently the mutual exchange chap is off sick so we have a temp. Her boss has just come back off sick and her boss is off sick. Sounds like a really healthy HA office that does.
We have played the 'I have a disabled arm' card and this weekend is the weekend that our mates can help us move AND we can get a cheap van. She says that we might be surrounded by boxes until mid November yet She is not sure that the HA is going to allow us to move as yet. They've had the paperwork since August, you'd think that they'd get on with stuff. We have a friend with Norwich City Council who did and exchange recently. All done and dusted within 3 weeks. I'm not envious at all.

I need extra tea today to cope with the stress of it all. Plus it's started raining
