Happy Wednesday, indeed! The Yorkshire folk are due back in Booms Bar tonight so we will be heading there for a  and a singsong. They are a very supportive bunch so I'll have a go at the new Greek song I looked up on Sunday. I'm still a bit weak on a couple of verses but have got to grips with the main long refrain, which is repeated 6 times, so I hope it won't go too badly for me! It should be another good night
Depends on wether or not you're willing to "Sing for your supper"!

Morning Afternoon all. The inspector has been. He took 2 and a half hours to look at our biddley little flat and garden. The housing officer has been too and was mightily impressed with the new guitar and the amount of packing that we have done. He says that we should be able to move on Sat 4th October and have new tenancy start from the 6th October. He's yet to book our gas and electric inspection though so I hope that he gets a wiggle on.

He told me today that the woman downstairs - her who has moved out now - actually made over 500 complaints about us. Repeatedly using the loo, talking in the garden and walking about. Heinous crimes that will have no bearing on our move, what so ever. HO says that we are model tenants and he would love to have a few more like us on his patch.

I was hoping to get out for a ride before work in an hour but it's howling it down with rain and battering against the windows and the PX refuses to get off the rack. Can't say that I blame him. More tea then.
