After 3am here. Just in after a night in Taps bar and then The Welcome Inn Irish bar. I've just dumped Mrs B into bed, drunk as a skunk, and I'm having some Marmite and peanut butter on toast as I type this. Sang my Greek songs in both bars then did a few solo numbers and a duet with Mrs B before the stagger home. We met lots of old friends and made some new ones during a great night.. The night is alive here with some people just going out at we staggered home. Same again tonight!! Lordy, life is so tough ^_^^_^^_^

Sounds painful.
Or do you mean the cat food sort!
No, just that I could eat a loafs worth of toast at the moment. The bread is mighty fine - it's Bakers Pride 7 seeds made by the Model Famagusta Bakeries Ltd., in Nicosia. We don't eat any other bread when in Cyprus.:hungry:

Good morning peoples of Tealandia. It's another lovely day here in Paradise. The sun is high and the cats have all been fed - we had 6 sitting on the landing this morning.

I have been telling Mrs B about what we did last night - what's she like, a few drinks and she enters the twilight zone!!

The response to my singing in Greek was massive. A rabid nationalist Cypriot who we know from previous years came straight over and told me he was in shock. An ex-pat who has lived here for years ran straight over to Mrs B when I started my first song in Greek and said how brave and brilliant I was, as after so many years she could only manage 2 or 3 words in Greek. That was my second night singing the songs and I felt more confident doing them. I discovered from a Cypriot friend that my third song won't be on the Karaoke list, and he asked me why I had learned it. I told him I learned it simply because I could, and he started to translate the song into English and he was bowled over when I continued on with the translation through the first couple of verses. They'll make a Cypriot of me yet and that would make Mrs B happy. She never wants to leave the place!
