The whole internet? How many CDs does that take?

Could you print it out?
They are CDs from the ancient past when 'The Internet' was still a baby and probably could have fitted on a CD. A dial up internet disc from 'BT Internet' is really not a lot of use now.

Thinking about getting out to the supermarket before it closes. Need furniture polish and some Christmas cards (even though I wasn't planning on sending any).

It's alright, I found him an S Club 7 CD. I hovered over a book of baby names though, but it just didn't seem funny enough.

Well, I've reduced the tottering piles of stuff on the table. OK, one of them has been transferred to a chair, but it's all ready to file and removed from envelopes etc.

Need more tea...:cuppa:

Mustn't forget I have to actually go out tonight!

Ooohhhh, where are you going? Is he nice?

It's the Work Christmas meal, at an Indian restaurant, and there will be about 11 of us...

Better wrap that CD...

Having seen on the weather forecast that it is likely to snow tomorrow I decided to it is better to change the car's tyres* over to winter ones before it got cold and white.
So that is what I've been doing this evening after dinner, just as the hail stones came down.:rain:

At least they are swapped over now.

I also welded the knackered gas strut on my swivel chair so now it is at the right height to type at the desk. I wonder what gas is inside a gas strut? It had the stink of butane, and a nice blue/yellow flame as I was welding it!

*Only swapped front to back as the new winter ones were put on the back to minimise wear while I still have a few thousand miles of good tread on the summer tyres at the front.
Will aim to get rear winter tyres soon, probably after tha last snow have gone!

Night Train - There is a Charity called Emerge in Manchester - www.emergemanchester.co.uk who might be able to recycle your cds etc. It does not specifically say that they are recycled. There is a very large plastics polymer reprocessor somewhere in England that recycles the cds and the cases into granules. You might like to have a look at their website to see if they can help.

If you click on Business Services and then on Material Collected, it mentions CDs. They may, of course, be wanting to collect half a ton at a time. But seeing as how they are a Charity, they might let you take CDs to them.

Thank you Speicher, I will give them a call tomorrow and see what the deal is. Hopefully they will have a drop off point somewhere. I shall sort out the rest of my old CDs adn see what else can go. I am sure I have a load of failed DVD-RWs too.
