I need to punch some holes in old bike tyres now. My life is so thrilling.

Instead of a newspaper, it was a book, lots of different books, but it gives you some idea what I did today.

The books were interesting though. Terry Gilliam's art, art in Sci Fi, Disney Sketch Artists, "Hatching the Movie": about the film "Chicken Run", Gerald Scarfe, Embroidery stencils, Easy to Make toys, how to make a castle from cardboard, and an early learning/reading book about Nature. Oh yes, lamps and lamp shades, Macrame and Bakelite jewelry, traditional Chinese designs in embroidery, and Coloured Glass in Contemporary Buildings. I had to decide which of fifteen categories the books were in, it is so easy to get distracted by "The Wol and the Pussycat" in a book about Picture Knits.

The construction of the database was put on hold till next week.

In other news, I have a series of projects I want to get done over the winter.
Turn my donated MTB into a hack / utility / heavyweight tourer by fitting butterfly bars, wider ratio gears, better wheels, V brakes and a rack
Get my Kirk up and running using whatever MTB bits I have left over from the above
Get the Ribble winter frame back on the road as a credit card tourer
Make a front-wheel drive recumbent.
I need a new Fettling Stick and a feckin' big hammer.

I'm going to bed now before you all make my head explode. When it comes to the six degrees of separation, cinnamon was not envisioned as The Link.
