I'm about to go look at these gears and cable, see if I can get it right...
I want to head out for a good run but low cog is not going down gears occasionally but no problem shifting up..
Too bleeding complicated now..

Yes, slightly more complicated than my old 5 speed... I had to get a new 9 speed chain for my shopping bike when I just couldn't get indexing right on the 8 speed one I'd nicked off a spare bike... the chain wouldn't have made too much difference back along, but a tenth of a millimetre width does now.. Smoooth now though.
