Morning. How are you today?
Rubbish lol.
Got Dr appt later this afternoon and need to go into town in a few.
My neck is really bad and although the painkillers work to a certain extent, they also make me feel sick and I'm allergic to the anti emetics so....
I'm going to come back and get hubby's bike out the shed and fix the flat incase we can get out later, depends how I feel.

Yeeessss... and and and..when I got home and turned on the laptop the bloody fan on it started making a death rattle and the CC site was playing up, and my calves were sunburned from leaning over trying to mend the chain twice and the dog started whining about going for a walk... lovely day, the stuff stories are made of!! But Liverpool won and I watched the Paris - Roubaix with a fresh slice of Victoria Sponge and had to test the Fruitcake as well, so everything was rosy in the end! ^_^
:highfive: ID! It's another braw day and I can see for miles man.:sun:.

I am back from town.
It looks like Rambo will cost too much to fix as almost everything is 'shot'...cassette, blah, blah.
A rough quote of £200 was given...I think I may as well buy a decent second hand MTB for the lad.

Sell the parts that aren't broken, either spliting them down or sell as a restoration project.
I'm assuming the frame is okay.

Afternoon, fettling, in the garden in the sun, took a bit longer than planned, always does...

By the time you get distracted by trying to make everything shiny, decide to replace the brake cables, find the new brake gaiters and noodles that you forgot buying and install those, clean the cassette properly while you've got the wheel off anyway, spend time reassembling, re indexing the gears, oh and then sort the original problem out as well...fitting a new chain, lubing, test riding up and down the street... No wonder the dog was circling me by about 2pm, boring into me with his 'We normally go for a walk at 12.30' eyes... Where does the time go? Ahem...

Hello, are you all well? :hello:
