I've got a Nexus but I'll give this a try.
I made an app shortcut to save me going through browsers, I use it on my phones for instant access

I know. Its really good isn't it, although I have been told the screen on the nexus 7 is better, I think because the screen is bigger on the tab its a much better experience altogether.

The Nexus 7 is superb screenwise, I'd be lost without it...I've even used for my cycling GPS apps as its lightweight.
Iis failings is in say reading PDF's and a few other things which I'll use this for.
This forum looks good even on my phone screen..
It's what you have you adapt..
my oldest has a chromebook now....
what a machine that is...
