Having had another cuppa and a swirly whirly ice lolly, I am starting to feel a lot less stressed by the whole thing.
If the Rover is dead we have a plan B, our tame mechanic has a nice Renault Megane on a 53 reg within our budget which he will do a deal on for us. Things look a lot better now we are not freezing our backsides off on the hard shoulder.
It will all come out in the wash and life is way too short to be fretting about bloomin' cars.
