You should enjoy some quiet time on your own, to do what you want. You can relax and look out out of the window at the awful weather with a smug look on your face. You can read or watch a film, and you can eat exactly what you want without anyone complaining. Sounds like paradise to me.

I did think of heading out and getting some use out of my bus pass

I have had a visit from daughter, dogs and number 1 and number 2 grandchildren. Washing, vacuuming done and am now reading the mist by stephen king.
