"Good Thursday Morning Northern Michigan! Here are the main headlines for you: It is going to be down right COLD for the next 24-36 hours. Highs today will range from -4 to 8 degrees with wind chills ranging from -10 to -25 degrees! Winds will be out of the Northwest at 15-30mph which will generate ground blizzard conditions. Basically that is the loose snow on the ground reducing visibilities to 0... and drifting rounds. Very little snow if any at all will be falling from the sky today. M-28 from Harvey to Munising in the U.P. is closed because of the windy and visibility issues. If you don't have to be outside probably best just to avoid it. Winds die down tonight as high pressure moves in and gives us mostly clear to partly cloudy skies but this creates an issue. Cold air sinks to the surface. Overnight lows will range from -10 to -25 degrees! Wind chills will be around -15 to -30 degrees.
