Sofar, no.Probably not too dry in West Riding this year.
West Riding disappeared on 1st April 1974.
Malham would have been in the North Riding, now parts of which are in North Yorkshire.

From what I understand the two lots of weather are connected - your snow and cold being unusually far south this year is generating the storms that scoot across to us on the jet stream, which is also unusually far south.Good Morn. Britains' floods led the news yesterday, followed by another 18 in of snow for the US Northeast and ice in the South. But we are forecast for 47 F next Wed, and some 50's beyond.

The Queen of the Faeries supposedly lives in the secret cave.
Sounds Touristy, but from what I see, looks quite quaint. But, being in a part of this country where a 200 year old building is seen as old, a lot of things look more interesting to me than to others.
Hello Ms WD....
Just turned a nasty day here and I just managed to get home in time...
I'm hoping it doesn't turn to snow....
Really rotten outside nownot much of a choice is it either wet wet stuff, or not so wet white stuff.
I still haven't seen that one, which was filmed in and around Hebden Bridge. It would be interesting to see what it was like 70 years ago when a lot of the mills were still working, every house was burning coal, and there wasn't a yuppie offcumden (like me when I first arrived) in sight! Lots of original buildings were still in existence then, but were becoming slums."Movies Made in the area: A Boy and Girl and A Bike (1949)(featuring Diana Dors)
Good Evening All
Just got home and the heavens opened with a massive downpour
