Searching out some JT9 or 65 on 17m just now, rtty contesting is obliterating my usual haunts:thumbsdown:

I've only an attic dipole so not a big hitter...

From 2003 to 2007 I would be out on the hills with a 5 ele for 6 and a 14 ele on 2, I used to have an Icom Ic910 and a 706Gmk2. I used to look forward to the big weekend six metre contests, but they were occasional activities, contesting on HF is almost a daily nuisance.

I still have a yaesu ft817 nd and a 50w amp for 6.

897 at home, 817 for doing SOTA but been quiet there since the trip to Snowdonia last Sept...but as soon as we get another car sorted out, I'll out again.
I've a 6m portable 2 ele lying in cupboard I haven't got round to building it...5 ele on 2m for SOTA.
I'd cycle but dunno if I'd be able to cycle back :laugh:
