May have to learn to like Turkish food, if its Cyprus your thinking of retiring to.
Ha Ha, don't think so. The way things are going it's more likely to be Russian! That's why we downloaded a Russian language course recently - we want to be able to say good morning etc to our neighbours when we go back for Sept & Oct this year.

In any case the 'Cyprus problem' is interesting in that people from the north that I have spoken to consider themselves Cypriot, not Turkish. In fact they even told me that the Turks don't consider them Turkish. They are lovely people, both sides of the border.

I wouldn't go there for good - only the winter. The summers are too hot. When we do start to winter there we will be learning a bit of Turkish as we would like to be polite and show respect when we travel north.
