So Mr Salmond says, but will his supporters win?

Personally I don't think so. I think the vote will be to stay and not break away.

Bloody well hope not. We are called the UNITED Kingdom for a reason.

Touchy subject and I don't want to start a big argument here, but I met a couple of Scots in Mallorca back in October on one of my cycling trips. They were not very fond of Mr Salmond and were saying whilst proud Scots they also were British and happy to remain part of the UK. They were also saying amongst their friends the feeling was the same and they were also saying how important it was for everyone to vote and encouraging all their friends to do so.
Also a friend of mine that is a driver moved up to Inverness and says the opinion of the staff at his depot is to remain part of the UK.
Not really sure if Mr Salmond's policies will stand up?
