So you don't ride in the snow!

Not while falling, with low visibility. My 3 speed is in "as Found" condition, and I'd like for it to have working brakes when I ride it. I prefer IGH when riding in snow.

I know of a fellow south of me who has some old raleighs in tall frames and 28" wheels with rod brakes, but his prices are a bit rich for me, so I keep on with the Schwinn Racer, as soon as it is restored. Enough seatpost to fly a flag from.

Overcast, and damp here, forecast for heavy rain soon. I'm saving my ride for tomorrow when it's to be dry with outbreaks of sun.
