I sold Thomas the Tank Engine, myself, at one point. I generally caught a lot of kidding from folks thinking I should be associated with Biggles.
You'd have sold the Bachmann one, with the moving eyes then or was it Hornby? Always had a hard time pointing out that Thomas was actually female.
Quick question what class of engine was Spencer?

Sold a few Hornby, but mostly the ones with wooden track for smaller children, which we got through Learning Curve, along with Brio. Rest of my affiliation with railroads was about 1:1 scale.

Fisher Price(Mattel) took the licence for Thomas a few years ago. Realised that it wasn't as popular with all the new locos/characters they introduced, so Learning Curve got the Take-A-Long license back. Brio got expensive over here

Spencer looks like a 4-6-2, what we would call a Pacific type over here. Looks like a Sir Nigel Gresley design, like Mallard, also LNER
Gresley A4, the same as the remaining six that have been over here for nearly a year. LNER is also correct.
You been looking for that one or did you know it?

Were I going with Brio, I'd try through Happy Hen, they always seem to be able to get it at cheap prices. I haven't been to the Merchandise Mart for years, so I have no idea how things are in the industry anymore.
