Two things, plastic whistle & a knee. Knee in the crotch if the whistle fails. Not that I condone violence, but she shouldn't have to put up with that sort of behaviour. Never pull a phone out as its likely to get nicked/damaged.
Back reprting it though. The next time the person may not be as lucky.
That's what I told her Classic.
She's very aware of where to aim but you know what it's like when you're in a situation, you don't always do what you know you should
Luckily it was a public place and there were lots of people about.

Not fond of any cities. Am a country boy. Make eye contact and smile in Aberdeen and people find the pavement very interesting whilst clutching handbag/wallet. More lonely/fearful people in cities than in the countryside that's for sure.

Obviously work in central Brum as that where home depot is.
Go there.......work.......leave there........Enough Said.
Sometimes feel a foreigner in city in your own country, sorry to say. As you say doesn't pay to make eye contact, especially with younger types who just seem to be looking for confrontation etc.

Sorry....got called away.
Daughter (18) had been out for a meal with her boyfriend in town.
As she was getting on the bus at the bus station, some drunken polish man touched her up. He was with another, older polish man.
She shouted at him not to touch her again and he leaned towards her (she said like he was trying to kiss her)....so she screamed in his face to 'Get the f*ck out my face before I deck you'.
The bus driver asked if she was okay and the older guy got on the bus and apologised for his friend although she said his english wasn't that good.
She's fine but I advised her to report the incident but she won't

Sorry to hear about what has happened. Hope all will be ok.

It doesn't make it either right or correct behaviour whatever the state he was in. Leave it for the night & see if she'd be willing to report it tomorrow.

There are rules that you have to abide by. Don't look at people. Don't flash your jewellery around. Keep you handbag zipped up tight. Don't go down dark alleys. Stick to the main drag. Hide anything and everything you value.

Now he's not here, can anyone say why he'd be carrying a handbag?
