I used to enjoy discussing religion and used to have long chats with the various nutters zealots who called at my door. A pair of Mormons once offered to come in and pray with me in my living room - I declined.

My uncle had originally intended to train for the priesthood, but left the training college during the war. Later in his life, he would Invite people like that into his home, where he would argue religious dogma for hours with them. Offen, they never came back.

I am not a member, I am a free man !!!!!!
So far this year we have only had 1 lot of carol singers and they were family dropping in unexpectedly and pretending to be singers, first time they knocked and sang I switched the hallway light off and ignored them not realising, thankfully they have a sense of humour.

Good job you didnt chuck a bucket of water over them then.
