I always love these little interactions with my 13 yr old...
Loud sirens and loudspeaker announcements from the petro-chemical plant nearby.
Son: Oh no! <slight panic>
Me: It's okay, it's only a test of the alarms
Son: Either that or a nuclear apocalypse. But I'm going with the test thing.

I nipped out early this morning to get a few odds & ends - unfortunately so did everyone else and they're all. Practically fighting over the car parking spaces at 9 in the morning
. I dread to think what it'll be like later on.

Saving money so that they can then spend £400.00 on food that they cant possibly eat before it goes bad. Oh and dont forget the shops will be open 2 days after Christmas
