Yes, but at least the grandchildren would be too out of breath to sing because of all the pedalling, one with the trailer for the shopping, the other pulling you along on the tandem
.
Thats the problem, she was using logic.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
WD, it's taken me ages to get 13 yr old into 'nice' clothes (it's an AS thing).
Then he wanted to go to the co-op but refused to go in his 'nice' clothes as they were 'going out' clothes and he wasn't going out!!!
ARRGGHHHH!!!
He's back in ordinary clothes but says he'll change (yeah, I've heard that one before!)

Do his clothes really matter. ? Is he happy. ? Isn't that the main thing. ? Your a good mum and he is very lucky to have you.

How long are you off for?

Just a week, I finish on Christmas Eve, and go back to work on the 2nd. Some of my workmates are going in on the 31st and the 1st, as they aren't bothered about the time off.

This week, we'll have all the letters to deliver explaining the changes to collections - not much in our case, but we also have to deliver the council info too. That makes the job longer, as we don't (as far as I know) get any extra staff for the leafletting, so we have to do the collection round and leaflet at the same time.

Works meal on Friday, looking forward to that, at a Keralan restaurant.

Me too
I have looked at my diary for the coming week and have had to have a sit down and another cup!!!!
Diary less cluttered now. One customer (6 dogs) has decided to go and stay with her son for a few days. Another one (3 dogs) has decided to use the brand new teenage groomer who charges a fiver a dog. So, 20 hours notice for first cancellation, knocked on door of the second one after reminding them by text on Saturday and driving to remote village in S Norfolk.

Give me a bigger mug of tea than I have now. This small mug is not doing the trick.

I meant to go to QD stores for a big big mug (my one with a picture of a cupcake on it, broke when the Greyhound wagged it off the table) but today just fell apart and I couldn't face going into the city. I will try to go tomorrow.

I have just realised what I said. It sounds just plain wrong...... no pun intended
