We live on an elevated site overlooking the coast so we are very exposed - but over the years have only had minor damage so have been lucky. The joy of the views outweighs any worries though - looking NNW I can see across Belfast Lough to the area where I spent my childhood and looking NNE I can see the coast of Scotland - with a wide expanse of sea all around. It should look spectacular from the warm livingroom.

Busy busy day - visitors tomorrow, small people want to put up Yule Decorations and Mount Ironing is looming too... plus lots of sewing if my fingers have recovered!

Yep I need to go to the supermarket so I will be huffing and puffing up the 2.5 mile hill on the way there and then whizzing down it fully loaded on the way back!
